1702 Patent License Call Opened!
The 1702-Patent-Based Technology Transfer Support Call, which aims to transfer patented technologies developed in universities, research institutions, and technology development zones to the industry, has been opened.
In the 1702-Patent-Based Technology Transfer Support Call, universities, research infrastructures, technology development zone companies, and technology transfer offices are qualified as Technology Provider Institutions. The Customer Institution is defined as a capital company based in Turkey that aims to create economic value by acquiring technologies owned by the Technology Provider Institution and protected by national or international patents through licensing or transfer. Within the scope of the call, joint applications of at least one Technology Provider Institution with a Customer Institution will be accepted.
In the 1702 Patent License call, projects will be supported for a maximum of 60 months. The upper limit of the project budget is 4,000,000 TL. The upper limit of the support rate is 60% for large-scale Customer Institutions and 75% for SME-scale Customer Institutions.
As of October 10, 2022, the Call is open for continuous application until a further announcement is made by TÜBİTAK.
